HORSE RULES[
Creation
- Keep the height in mind. There wouldn't be a 16 hand Shetland pony.
- You can have as many characters as you can keep active.
- there can be donkeys and zorses but they can only herd with others of their own kind (breeding included)
Mares
- Get to choose which stallion they want to go with, unless otherwise OKed with the rper.
- Are pregnant for 1 week.
- Mature at 3, but can breed as young as 2.
- Can claim land.
Stallions
- Can claim mares, but can't force them to go with them unless OKed by the rper.
- Can have as many mares in their herd as they want.
- Mature at 3, but can breed as young as 1 (although most probably there will be no foal at this early age).
- Can claim land.
Foals
- Post in New Life for foal stats after the breeding. You may request certain things.
- Twins are very rare. There's a slight chance that you will have twins so you can ask for them. Triplets may be born, but it will most likely cause the mare to die, and generally two of the triplets will die as well
- Foals may be born in any season. Spring and summer foals can survive. Fall foals hardly ever survive, and winter foals will die unless in a safe warm place.
- Foals will die without milk for their first week and can leave their mothers in the second but don't have a good chance of survival.
- Cannot fight for anything but freedom and can play fight until weaned. (although they can still play fight after they have more freedom, colts are encouraged to practice little play battles to gain experiance)
Tame horses
- Stallions and mares may breed at age two.
- May breed only when the mare is in heat.
- May start being ridden at age three.
- May start light training from 1 year.
- May start heavy training from 2 years.
- May be sold to anyone, for an amount of money of your choice (agreement must be made between rpers).
- Can escape from captivity, may come from the wild to captivity.
- When sold, the horses creator will role play the horse, unless otherwise specified.
- Cannot be abused but can be from an abused past (exceptions may be made).
- can only fight for paddock/stable rank, freedom, superiority and riding order rank unless said otherwise.
Claiming/Terra's
- Stallions and mares can claim land.
- mares must claim on behalf of a stallion (this rule doesn't apply if there is plenty of land).
- Please sub herd! Not every stallion can have a land!
- The stallion must be 3 or above to claim land.
- You must post a claiming thread of at least 200 words including herd stats and rules.
- If you win/claim a Terra and would like it changed, pm a staff member please.
- If the land is inactive for a MONTH (4 weeks) or more the land will be up for grabs.
Fighting
- Stallions can fight for land, mares, and foals.
- Mares can fight for rank in the herd under the stallions rules ex. he must decide who wins or must be there at the time.
- They cannot fight for land.
- Keep it real. It is not very likely that your horse will never be touched, or hit the other with every attack.
- Battles need to be judged by an Admin or Mod, and will be judged on post quality. Just because you can write 500 words doesn't make it good.
- Mares and Stallions are equal and can fight with each other for respect.
Stealing
- Stallions can steal mares or foals.
- mares can steal foals but must be OKed by a mod
Breeding
- Definitely NO graphic breeding. It is disgusting and nobody wants to read it.
- Breeding is allowed in any season.
- Breeding MUST be somewhere said. Even if it is a simple "They met, they bred."
- Force breeding is allowed, but please respect the rpers wishes.
Punishments
- First offense= 1 warning and 25%.
- Second offense= Another warning, depending on which rule possible banning for three days and additional 25%.
- Third offense= Depending on severity up to two weeks banned plus 25%.
- Fourth offense= Complete ban for as long as the admin see fit, plus 25%. Anything after this is an automatic account deletion.
- If the Admins or Mods feel you have improved, then your warning will go down to whatever they see fit.
These rules can be changed at any time, so please check them.
The new rules will be in orange.
