[Dusty's Dark Angelic Rider]

Raine sighed as she looked up to the east, knowing the stallion she loved lived there, but knowing she can never leave her farm because if she did, James would be ticked at her worse then he already was. She could hear a mighty cry from the west, where the shore and the sea met and she wondered what happened, but she didn't move from her sholving the stalls out. James had come up behind her and she tensed for a second, but relaxed once he had his arms aorund her. "I'm acting foolish." she thought to herself, but she looked at her shoulder, where he had laid his head, she loooked right into his eyes and they told her that he wouldn't wait a second to remind her that he is the boss between him and her. She sighed mentally and wished she could be with Nicca once more.

Nicca had come and gone when he wanted, but now, he stood at the tree line, where he could see Raine and James and he pinned his ears back as he saw the gun that he had hidden at the small of his back. Nicca was always on watch when it come to Raine and he knew that she would need him one day. He moved ever so slightly, making his way to the barn he grew up and lived in.

Raine sighed as James finally went back to the house and she could hear the movement of a horse...her horse. She ran out just to be greated by the wonderful stallion she had raised as a foal to the great stallion he was now. "Nicca, you must leave." she had whispered to him, but he did not move, only to nuzzle her, wanting her to come back with him to live. "I can't Nicca, as much as I would love to, I just can't. James..." She heard a shatter in the house and turned to the house, pushing Nicca away. "You must go." she whispered to him. Nicca nodded, but nuzzled her once more before he bolted back to his land.
Just as Nicca had left, James came walking out, his dark brown hair a mess and the look in his eyes was like a fire that was burning wildly and there was no way to put it out. "I never want to find that horse here again. All you can think about is that horse and how much you miss him and bla bla bla." he told her. Raine looked at him, fear in her eyes and she back up to Daje, who pulled Raine back to him and stood next to her with his ears pinned back. Raine felt at ease beside Daje and she relaxed, the fear slowly going away. "He is the only one I could count on and after the way you first treated me, he just wants to make sure I am okay." she told him, risking him hitting her, but as he raised a hand, Daje pawed the ground as if to tell him to try it and with that James walked away and Raine slide down to the ground beside Daje's legs that braced her. "Oh Daje, what am I to do?" she whispered to the stallion, but Daje only nuzzled her hair and playfully lapped at it.

Lovely saw an unfamiliar shape, and am unsettling feeling roused within her. She had found the ever lastif fence and crossed it without hesitating, but she couldn't get get back out. Lovely trotted toawards the two legged animals and saw one crouch next to the stallion. Lovely was sickened for fear she would see the gruesome work if a predator, suddenly her sight whent black, she closed her eyes tight and did what her instinct told her. She folded her legs in an laid down, her eyes sealed. She waited for the terrified screaming of that poor unfortunate horse. She tucked in her head and watched the squiggly shapes run away from her sight. She had become friends with these eye squigglies and they were all she wanted to look at right now.

Daje nuzzeld Raine and she looked up to see the mare. "Poor thing." she whispered as she got up ever so gently, giving Daje a gentle pat as he nickered to her. "Hey girl, you okay?" she gently called as she got down on her knees a few feet from the mare. She was so pretty to Raine, but she noticed that James was kinda hanging around her. "James, leave us." she told him firmly, but Daje lunged at the guy who backed away from him with fear and Daje snorted, but whern he looked over to Raine, his ears perked up and he trotted to the mare that was laying down, but stopped a foot away when he nickered lowly to only her.

Lovely heard the voices, a new noise from a new creature. So many new things today it hurt her brain. She raised her head centimeter by centimeter, as slow as a sloth. Then, with her light voice, she nickered to the stallion and noticed that the new animal was closer than she expected. Her legs strained and were ready to bolt as the two legged animal whispered her, she tensed. Then, opened her eyes fully to look into the new creatures own eyes. Her grey blind eyes seeing the strange shape of the animal, such weird curves and parts. She studied them for a second and scanned the field for an escape route if needed. One wrong move and she would flee, running and possibly jumping the fence if she could. She heard wolves, or, something else? It truly made her confused and scared all at once. She stood straight and looked around, seeing some shapes here and there she didn't understand.

She pawed the ground and pinned back her ears. The howling and bawling continued as she neighed a warning. The sounds came closer, and closer, until she could see the stick shapes she knew as grass moving. She reared and turned tail and ran away. She got about a mile away before something tugged at her ankle and forced her down. A snake type vine thing wrapped around her ankle and she panicked. She cried out franticly as she was trapped.

Raine watched as the mare got tangled and she sighed as she mounted Daje bareback and he galloped over to where the mare was, but when they got there Daje slowed to a fast trot, almost making Raine fall off. "Easy Daje, I don't have a saddle to hold on too." she said. her voice very bumpy as he bounced her with his gait.
As they neared the mare, Raine slide down and gently walked to the mare, whispered gentle words, "easy old girl. Nothing'll get you. Promise. Daje will fight off anyting that dares hurt a pretty girl like you." she told her. Daje nickered, flipping his ears back and forth to listen. Raine heard Wrangler and General coming but whistled lowly to them and they stopped dead in their tracks, dropping to the ground, suddenly quiet.
Raine looked over to the mare again and then gently touched the mare lightly, gently sliding her hands down to the mare's legs, unwrapping the wire and twigs and barb wiring from the mare's legs. "Oh pretty girl, lookes like you need to be tended too." she whispered as she slowly stood again. "will you follow and trust Daje to let me tend to your wounds?" she asked as Daje come over and pushed against Raine.

Lovely stared nervously at the weird new animal then at the stallion. The snake type thing was off, but her leg stung severely. She neighed a little as the barking of the wolves receded, then she hung her head low and almost touching distance of the animal. Lovely liked this new life being, she was kind. Lovely could tell. Sh gently got up, putting barley any pressure on her injured leg. She limped over to the stallion but kept her eyes ahead of her, not sure wear to look. She turned her head and stared at the animal, wishing she could realize just how terrified Lovely was. She whispered to the stallion without turning. "What shall i do? What can i do?" Saying that angered herself, made her insides boil and pop like a pot with hot water. She hated seeing herself so helpless like this, it made her feel like an actual blind horse. She shook her head in defeat and waited for this new animal to do something. Hopefully not to humiliating. Lovely wandered if the creature could sense fear, or had noticed her blindness. She would keep it a secret as long as she could.

Raine smiled gently to the mare and then motioned Daje to stay beside her. "Follow Daje lovely girl. He will help you avoid anything that will hurt you." she said in a low voice. She moved toward the farm house, but she called,"General get the horse aid kit." General did what he was told to do.
Daje nuzzled the mare gently and said,"She is harmless. She actually hasa a few other stallions who protect her besides me. She raised a foal after she let his mom go and found out the mare left the foal behind. James is the mean on, but she keeps him away from us. She knows you are scared, she has read many things about horses and has watched how they are and what signs to watch out for when a horse is scared or anything else."

Lovely dwendled behind the stallion and nodded her head. "What kind of animal is she? Nothing I have ever Sean before. It's all new." She exclaimed with a low, scared voice. The pain in her leg shot through her leg as she stumbled over a rock and caught herself on that leg. She cried out but quickly regainedherself, breathlessly. She spun around and saw the grass, and that was all. The stallion, the creature, everything. This happened sometimes, she would just get turned around is all. She moved her head slightly and saw the figure of the stallion again. She sighed in relief and limped on.

Daje smiled. "she is human. A very caring human." he said as he threw his neck under her's, to keep her up right. "as soon as we get to the barn, she will fix you leg. And do not mind the dogs, they are harmless. General will actually guide you if you let him."
Raine watched closly and could tell that she needed to check the mare out closer, to make sure she was okay besides her wounded leg. Stopping, she waited for Daje to come to her with the mare. General had brought her the kit and she gave him a gentle pat before she sent him away.

Lovely envied his knowledge, she had known nothing of this 'human'. The wolfs, er, dogs, had came and left, and now she wanted nothing more than to explore this humand mind. She shook her head and flanked the stallion, close to him, touching so she would bit get lost again. "My name..is Lovely. I have never bean to this place, and never met dogs it humans. I'm sorry for bothering you and your herd." did he even have a herd?

Daje smiled at her. "It's okay. I am Déjà vu, or most call me Daje. YOu are not bothering me at all. I enjoy this anyways it makes me feel like I am needed. My Herd left when I had helped Raine with some horses, so she took me in as her own, but I am still as wild and free as Darkness and Light. Dreamer is gentled." He told her.

Raine smiled as she watched Daje gentle lead the mare toward the barn so she could fix her up. She looked down at the dogs and knelt down to them, petting them both. She soon laid her head on General and Wrangler had laid his head on her side.
Raine waited, but she thought of the stallion that waited for her to come to him at some point and time.

Lovely stepped into the building, cautious not to disable anything. All new squared shapes appeared, blinding light, a new fear. Her heart raced as the walls seemed to squeeze in around her, wrapping they're strangling hands around her neck. Yet, she held a strait face and moved as gracefully as she could. Her eyes falling on the human and dogs. "I need to adjust to this." Lovely said, sharp and ridged. She had had enough of this fooling around, she was going to stand up for herself, fix her own problems. Even if she had to bolt her hooves to the ground, she would stay.

Raine had gotten up and walked in beside the mare and Daje. "Easy Lovely girl. You'll be okay." She whispered to her. "I'm just going to wrap this-" she gently rubbed the vet wrap and guaze against the mare's side. "around your cuts so they don't get infected. I'm also going to put some cold like stuff that might feel stick on it too under the vet wrap and guaze." She leaned down, running her hands down the mare's legs and then started in on taking care of the wounds.

When she was done, she stood up and gently petted the mare's neck. "There you go Lovely girl. All fixed up. YOu can hang out with Daje is you want, he is a sweet boy and will keep you safe from any harm." she said as she moved, running her hand along the mare, so she knew where she was and once she was away from Lovely, she opened the side barn door, leading out ot the pasture that had the pond. "There is a pond out in the pasture where you can get a drink and there is nothing that can hurt you in this one. I made sure of the long ago."

As the treatment ended, the human ran her limb across her body. It made her shiver. She looked around, curiously, wanting to know so much of these things. The space issues receded after a few moments, for her curious nature won the battle. Lovely turned her head and looked the human into the eyes, straight on. She wanted to know this human, inside and out. She wanted to know her thoughts and see her visions. The stallion seemed close to her, more than Lovely could ever do, but she was determined to find more about this creature. Her eyes gazing into the humans own, searching. The colorless shapes all around her, then something struck Lovely like a astroid. What if this human could look into Lovely like Lovely wanted to look into the human? She had found out nothing, and didn't know squat about this new animal. What capabilities does this species have?

Lovely stepped carefully out into the pasture, seeing every stick and stone, pebble or speck. Following the stallion, but keeping a steady blind eye on the human. Making sure she knew were she was.

Daje slowly walked out into the pasture. "Where would you like to go?" he asked her. But he noticed Lovely watching Raine and he smiled. "What would you like to know?" he asked. "I am sure I can tell you almost everything."

Raine smiled as she noticed that Lovely was watching her and she soon walked over to her, leaning down, she gently blew into the mare's nose like how horses greeted each other and let them get to know each other.
