Angel trotted through the valley and sighed as she could smell another stallion in the place. Brave Angel, her brother by blood was next to her yearling colt DayDream, or Dream as most called him. Over the year of losing her herd, she found out that Andy, Knight's twin brother was okay and that Knight's little family had found him once more, which Knight was happy about since he could help raise his daughter.
Now the two mares stood together and looked around, the two foals playing without another thought and the four stallions watching them. "Whoever owns this land, I hope he will take us in." Raging Lightening said. Angel nodded. She just hoped she could handle not beng lead mare anymore. "I have to get use to the thought someother mare will or is lead mare to this land." she replied.
Knight and Andy were bonding after a year of not being with each other and Brave couldn't help but watch the two young foals play. It was the first time they had met and now they are acting like they are great friends. "Brave, what if this stallion rejects our family?" Knight asked. Brave still looked at the foals. "Either he'll deal with me, or we'll leave, plain and simple." he said. "We need to think about what is best for Dream and Wind." In truth, this was, once again against his wishes, but his sister believe that the foals needed to know more of herd life and not just in their small band. "Brave, I know I haven't been around for sometime, but I just wanna know, what are you so against?" Andy asked. Brave tossed his head and pawed the ground. "I am afraid to lose what I have left. NightSky is no longer here to keep my sister safe, my herd itsself was killed by humans, and I even looked to see if anyone was left alive, but no one was. Now I need to worry about how my sister will take being led and bossed around," Brave shook his mane harder and reared. Coming back down to the ground, he slammed his hooves hard. "I won't let some stallion let my family be split up." he finished. Andy noddded and so did Knight. Champion, who stayed quite this long sighed as he watched his brother. He knew what it was like for them, but Brave needed to know that he wasn't the only one who lost so much.
((I am working on the forms right now. lol))

SpiritStar
I stood on the ledge beside the falls letting a fine mist of water cool my back, it was coming close to summer and the days were getting hotter in the green valley, soon the grass would dry under the sun but still there would be plenty, i had none to share it with. i looked over the valley, barley seeing the outer reaches from my high-set ledge. i closed my eyes and basked in the days glory, letting the wind bring all the scents in the air to me, there was something new, something i recognized immediately, horses. The scent of mares and stallion entering my familiar territory. i gazed at the land with deep caring golden-brown eyes, searching for the large shapes on the Terra. There!, moving colors followed by another gust carrying their scent. I started down the steep slope that led to the ground and prancing in place when i reached it before taking of at a ground consuming gallop, my charcoal black legs stretching out until they where a midnight colored blur merging with the green spring grass. I tossed my golden head causing a ripple to go down my black mane, i slowed as i reached the point where i last saw the horses. I was loping now, then trotting, then prancing as the small herd came in to sight, I held my tail high, the black hairs streaming behind me like a silky banner, i came to the front of the group and stopped, my Arabian dished head facing them, showing off my silver forelock and star. I bowed before taking a deep breath then saying proudly, I am SpiritStar stallion of this land, then in a quieter tone, you are all welcome here as my guests although i hope you will stay. i bowed again remembering all the manners my mother had taught me, i half turned, and said, please come to the waterfall, there is more room and you all must want a drink. I turned around fully and started trotting of, my powerfully golden hindquarters moving with the motion of my high and proud stepping, fluent trot.

Angel and Lightening both rounded up the foals, but they soon took off. Knight was soon after them along with Champion and Andy. Angel laughed as she watched as Wind tripped her father, who now laid on his side. "Watch everyone? I need to talk to the stallion." she said to Lightening who nodded. Brave was the only one who wasn't playing. He watched his sister protectively and picked up his easy walk when his ister was side by side with the stallion.
"I'm sorry I didn't get to introduce myself. I am Angel Wings, ex lead mare to the NightAngel herd that was killed. My family is the last reminding horses from that herd." she told SpiritStar. "And please don't mind Brave, he is the one that is always against everything," she giggled a little. "But we will stay as long as you welcome us." she added. She watched her young son come over to her, breathing deeply from his run with Calming Wind. "Momma, did you see that?" he asked Angel. Angel looked up to see Champion getting up and Knight shaking off his white coat. "You both better watch it. Champion and Knight will be after you." she said, smiling as her son soon took off with Calming Wind. She watched as Brave soon couldn't handle not playing with Dream and take off after the colt.
Lightening came up beside Angel and nuzzled her. They had once been almost sisters and they wanted that relationship back. Lightening knew Angel wanted a stallion once again and couldn't blame her, since she had a yearling son. She knew how hard it was to raise a foal without the father's help, yes Angel had her brothers, but at times that didn't make much of a difference to anything. Angel had dropped back from the stallion's side and walked with her head down more, because she knew that there was no way she would be lead mare ever again. Brave moved up to his beloved sister's side and nuzzled her lovingly, trying to cheer her up. "Don't worry sis, you won't be dealing alone." he told her in a whisper as Lightening galloped after Knight, who smiled and ran beside her. Brave smiled. "One day my dear sister, we will have one who love us again."
Knight galloped beside Lightening with passion in each stride. He was happy to have his mare back, he also saw how heart broken Angel was and slowed down to a easy trot along with Lightening. "Lightening, Angel isn't take this well is she?" he asked. Lightening nuzzled his chest with her head as she trotted beside him. "No, but it's a big change for a lead mare and it'll be a big change for me, since I helped lead our last herd." she told him as he arched his neck to lay his muzzled between her ears. Knight watched as Calming Wind galloped with Dream. "I know Lightening, I know." he muttered.
Champion and Andy were chasing the foals, but soon dropped to a canter, breathing hard. "I so can't believe they are still going." Champion said, laughing. "well it seems like the wind carries Calming in her galloping." Andy said as he to was breathing heavily. "This is all going to be a change for us." Andy added in. "Brave won't stand by and let Angel be hurting and then if anyone messes with Dream or Calming-" "Or any of us." Champion corrected. Andy nodded,"Yes, or any of us. But the fact is, ever since NightSky was killed, Brave has taken on the lead stallion role. Therfore protecting us from everything and anything." Andy spoke the truth too about everything. Brave had taken charge and taken over protecting the small band. Andy looked over at his twin brother and smiled. Knight and Andy were as different as Night and Day, Andy being Day and Knight being, well Night.

I smiled at the mare walking towards me and was shocked when she said her herd was killed, i tried to imagined what it must have been like but couldn't. The fae had a beautiful name that matched her perfectly, she not just had the markings but the personality to match. When the mare laughed a smile played over my mouth, the band certainly seemed in good spirits. i smiled even more when others started coming up, especially an energetic foal, and their reassurance in each other. I was disappointed when the mare walked of i would of liked to have talked with her more, get to know her better, i decided to leave it for later instead i watched her walk away with her head slightly down and wondered what was bothering her.

Brave watched the stallion closely and sighed, as he chased Dream. Catching the yearling, he whispered,"Got you." And Dream laughed as he slowed and walked after Calming Wind who smiled at him. Champion and Andy walked over and Brave said,"Glad they finally wore out, 'cause I am tired." Champion laughed as he said,"I bet, since I know we all are."
Knight walked beside his Lightening. He was happy to finally have Lightening back by his side and he smiled happily. Lightening nuzzled him once more and said,"Angel is just so broken that she lost her herd, and she'll have a hard time trying to get use to being led around and everything." Knight nodded and said,"I know, and I also know Brave won't stand for it." "But he will have to deal with it. Anel won't take our family from a land that offers protection that we no longer have." Lightening said with a strong voice, which made Knight nod.
Angel smiled as she watched her family and she shook her name as she soon started to feel at ease, just by watching everyone bond once more. "Finally, the best is here." she said as she kept a watchful eye on the two yearlings. She looked ahead, knowing the her family would follow her, so she also knew they would still look to her as a lead mare. She smiled and remembered the old times, when she knew there was no danger, but humans and even then the stallion did his best to keep them safe.
