Moonlight penetrated the misty valley making it even more Erie. A thin layer of snow covered the ground, adding to the sense of a blank bottomless pit of swirling, dizzying fog. But there was life, what looked like a paw twitched and a white mound rose from the ground. icy-Blue eyes opened and took in their surroundings. The white shape took a cautious step forward, then another. Thick white fur covered the predators body making the stunning blue eyes stand out even more. The animal looked up and saw the faint shimmer of moonlight sifting through the mist giving plenty of light for a wolf to see. The white wolf started walking again, then trotting, then loping, picking her feet of the ground with an almost unnatural grace.
I knew i had started going up a mountain, the ground was getting steeper and rockier also the snow was getting thicker, i slowed down and looked around, i was still surrounded by fog, thick milky moving fog, enough to make you go mad, insane. I was lost, lost, forgotten and alone, completely alone. There where no animal sounds, no screeches or rustling noises just my breathing and the sound of my feet when i ran, spraying snow into the ever swirling mist that blanketed the land. I didn't know how long i was there for, unconscious in the valley then lost in the mist as i climbed the slopes of a mountain getting ever steeper as i ran forward, kept moving but seamed to be going nowhere, i didn't even know how i came to be in the mist. minutes or hours past until i felt the mist getting thinner and a cool breeze moving through the air. I stopped and lifted my head the the more definite light of the moon before continuing forward, desperate to get out of the fog. i was starting to get scared, losing my calm collectedness, i must be near the edge of the fog but how long would it take to reach the place where the mist finally gave way?
My white body was finally released from the horrible fog, i escaped with a finall burst of speed from its white fingers and shook myself free of tension and fright. i walked on at a steady pace my tail in a relaxed position but ears straight up listning to the small sounds around me with relief.
